My name is Alex Khomutov.
Currently, I'm a Senior Product Designer at Double.
I grew up in Ukraine 🇺🇦, where I got my BA in Fine & Applied Arts. But I don’t remember myself doing something else rather than designing things. I got my first design job at 16, and for the last 10+ years, I have completed hundreds of design projects.
In the recent six years, I have been focusing on designing iOS, and macOS apps, and sometimes web interfaces. I worked at Readdle where I designed one of the most popular calendar apps for iOS and macOS — Calendars by Readdle and a powerful scanner app — Scanner Pro 8. Besides that, I have experience in designing and launching apps from scratch. As a founding designer at Smartist, I went all the way from a rough idea to the live app that quickly overtook competitors and became the number one art visualization app loved by tens of thousands of artists in the US.
Leading the the design of the Double app, which connects busy executives with personal assistants and delegation tools.
